The exhibition will be open for a period of 15 to 18 May 2012.

The theme of the exhibition of students in the BA (Hons) Graphic Design „This Way Up“ or „upward path“. The concept presents young designers as „mail-order package“ wrapped in a hard paper and bubble wrap, tape sealed. The theme was influenced by the idea that students are now ready to build a career and to move „up“ in the working environment of Graphic Design. Individual elements of identity play on words, every promotional material represents a different expression and idea, but conceptually everything fits together and form a common identity. The students' work on the project was inspired by a Swedish industrial design showing the simplicity, the importance of typography and choose the color that represents the colors of the University. The use of unconventional materials – organic paper and bubble wrap – the intention was creative and entertaining in a sense, the project. As a result of student work exhibited in the gallery AF BKK as projects: creation of promotional materials for the association to help people with autism, a design project illustrating the cultural background of Western Slavs, personal approach to visualizing dreams, a project promoting the work of young artists from peripherals and connection artistic communities of young people in Prague or iPad application on fisheries and the marine industry for the Australian market.

The theme of the exhibition of students in the BA (Hons) Interactive Media's „Lost and Found“ or „Lost and Found“, which represents the essence of the project and how the project work. Each of the artists project had their own idea about its identity and chose their own way of designing. In the final phase of the project, a group of designers again „found“ and shared their individual work and projects in the group and created a joint design that would reflect elements of the proposals of all involved, from which arose the concept of „lost“ and then „found“. The project illustrates the design artists combining film, animation, photography and sculpture. Visitors to the exhibition will also enjoy the art digital projection, hanging decorative fabric on the wall representing human characters, graffiti depicting the culture of cities and 3D objects and architecturally unfeasible proposals.
