Faculty of Restoration, University of Pardubice organizes Seminar "Microworld works of art" at the opening of his new special department

Wednesday, 14 December 2011 from 10:00 organizes Faculty of Restoration, University of Pardubice at the European Training Centre in Litomysl seminar entitled „The Micro artworks – the use of electron microscopy in the field of heritage preservation.“

On this occasion will be projected ** part documentary series Nature Tech **, which was presented in the Czech Republic under the name ** The genius of nature, and in 2008 awarded the Emmy and Science will open its new special workplace electron microscopy **.

The seminar program includes a series of lectures, which will inform the interest of electron microscopy in both the general possibilities of its use, and in particular examining stone mortars, wood and fabric or paper.

In addition to specialized presentations focused on this topic will be presented at the seminar as well as selected parts of the documentary series Nature Tech, which was presented in the Czech Republic under the name genius of nature. * „Documentary series, which in 2008 was awarded an Emmy, deals Bionics, a field-oriented specialized study of living organisms, particularly their structures and consequently their use in the development of new technologies,“ * says Ing. Karol Bayer from the Department of Chemical Technology, Faculty of restoration, the current Dean of the Faculty of Restoration in Litomyšl, and adds: * „In this paper, one of the creators of the document, specifically Rudolf von Erlach from the University of applied arts in Vienna, will be presented and commented mainly parts of the document using electron microscopy.“ *

The seminar will be held in connection with the launch of the workplace electron microscopy at the Faculty of Restoration, University of Pardubice Litomysl, which was created with the support of the centralized development project of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic – Creation of a specialized department electron microscopy.
