Visit of the Ambassador of South Africa Jan Perner Transport Faculty of the University of Pardubice

On Tuesday 1 November visit Jan Perner Transport Faculty of the University of Pardubice, Ambassador of South Africa, Mrs. Celia-Sandra Botha.

Following the meeting with representatives of the Ambassador of the Pardubice Region visit Her Excellency Ambassador also Jan Perner Transport Faculty of the University of Pardubice, since it studies the group of 16 South African students in undergraduate program of transportation technology and communications. Meeting at Jan Perner Transport Faculty will be held on Tuesday 1 November from 10:30 in the conference room of the Faculty Dean's Office transport, Student 95, Pardubice-Polabiny.

Mrs. Ambassador first to welcome Dean prof. Ing. Bohumil Culek, PhD. Vice-Rector of the University and Assoc. Ing. Tatiana Molková, Ph.D. With a faculty associate dean for External Relations Assoc. Ing. Petr Prusa, Ph.D. Then visit to meet with students themselves. The visit to inspect the traffic lab, campus faculty and learn about the background of the university campus. Accompanying the ambassador will be South Africa advisor Wouter Zaayman, Florina Thibule Matsimela attache and secretary of the Political Department Zdenek Herclová.

In 2008 began the first meeting and then was well established cooperation between the Jan Perner Transport Faculty of the University of Pardubice and the North West University in Pretoria, South Africa. With the support of the Ministry of Transport of South Africa and the South African embassy studying at Jan Perner Transport Faculty this year for the fourth year a group of sixteen South African students. (Ministry of Transport South Africa pays these students a monthly stipend to support their studies in the country.) Given that the study conducted in the Czech language, the students completed during the preliminary year annual rate czech. Then began the regular study of selected undergraduate courses, which should end next year.
