Moravian College Olomouc (MVŠO) won one of the first Czech private university certificate according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2009. The certificate issued by an independent accredited certification body, the International Bureau Veritas certifies that the Quality Management System, the college is properly designed, documented and implemented in accordance with the requirements of standard ISO 9001

The internationally recognized ISO 9001 – Quality Management System was created by the International Organization for Standardization – International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in order to establish clear and yet generally applicable requirements for quality management systems according to which any organization assessed in order to demonstrate compliance. Certification to ISO 9001:2008 / EN ISO 9001: 2009 is meant to assess the organization's a­bility to meet customer requirements, legal requirements and other regulations and its own organizational requirements. This standard is a globally recognized standard, the introduction of the foundation and starting point for implementation of other requirements for system management. The main benefit of implementing a system for managing the transparency of business processes with emphasis on their performance under conditions of continuous improvement, which ultimately brings performance improvement throughout the organization as a whole. Ultimately, this means increased customer satisfaction, prestige organizations in the market and strengthen its credibility.
