"The goal of this event, which again takes place in many Czech and Moravian towns, is to introduce scientists to the public as ordinary people, to show that science can be fun, and to convince visitors that maybe they can try to give scientific career,“ adds Černíková.

This year's motto is: „Science gives us space.“ Space Night of scientists gave this example these cities: Prague, Plzen, Brno, Czech Budějovice, Zlín, Liberec, Ondrejov, Zlin, Sedlcany, Salty, Vlasim, Beggar, Jindrichuv Hradec, Usti Sezimovo, Most, Teplice, Rokycany, Přeštice, Pardubice, Hradec Kralove, Prostejov, Jihlava, Ostrava and many others.

At all these locations will be held popularly conceived presentation of science and especially its bearers – scientists.
