The Learned Society of the Czech Republic awarded on Monday, 16 May prestigious awards – Award for scientific excellence in the category „high school student“ travels to the Middle School of Chemical in Pardubice, the student Diana Markova compiled his work in the laboratories of the Faculty of Chemical Technology, University of Pardubice.
On Monday 16 May, carried out the first day XVII. General Assembly of the Learned Society of the Czech Republic, whose program was in the Great Auditorium of the Prague Karolina open to invited guests. This day was marked by a festive spirit, as it awarded prestigious awards – in addition to the Medal of the Learned Society of CR and Prices for scientific excellence in the categories of researcher, a young researcher, a high school student and Prices for teachers. The third category was awarded 10 young scientists ** – ** of high school students who received their awards for research, who are dedicated. One was awarded ** Diana Markova from the School of Chemical in Pardubice **, which prepared the study „Pigments based on CeO 2.“ Diana Markova is a student of third year and in his spare time was devoted to synthesis and evaluation of pigment application properties of these compounds, which could find practical use as pigments in the desired shade of orange with high thermal stability. ** The practical part of their student work conducted in the laboratories of the Department of Inorganic Technology Faculty of Chemical Technology, University of Pardubice **. Diana had to learn not only new theoretical knowledge, but also had to manage a set of application methods that are necessary to obtain the necessary results and the subsequent writing of professional work.

Peter Šulcová, Ph.D. Department of Inorganic Technology Faculty of Chemical Technology, under whose guidance the work carried out in laboratories, received awards adds the words: „* The award, which this year goes to Pardubice, is a great representation of both SPŠCh in Pardubice, but also the Faculty of Chemical Technology University of Pardubice and is also an excellent example of cooperation between high school and university.
