Four Opportunities for Ecological Studies of succession. Trends in Ecology and Evolution 26: 119–123.
Article by Charles dust and American environmentalist Lawrence R. Walker summarizes the promising possibilities for further research of ecological succession in the context of biodiversity loss, climate change, invasions of alien species and restoration ecology. It emphasizes the key role of the concept of succession in the current environment. The magazine, in which the article was published, the world nejcitovanějším environmentally oriented magazine (two-year impact factor 11.6, five-year 16.9).
