University of South Bohemia in the Czech Budejovice is a public university-type. • ** Education ** Classes take place in accredited bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs, which are wider scientific basis for 246 (the first 11th 2010) degree with specialization in the fields full-time and part-time study. Lectures and seminars in 25 fields of study are offered also in English, also in 3 fields in the German language.
All parts of the university (in a different representation) take place in selected fields of science doctoral programs (Ph.D.). Graduates of master's programs in some philosophical, educational, scientific, theological and social health care faculty may obtain an academic degree Mgr., Dr.. and Th.Lic., for the award are entitled to that part of the university.
Economics, Arts, Science, Theology, Health and Social Studies, Faculty of Agriculture and Fisheries and water protection are entitled to carry out habilitation of associate professors, Arts, Science, Health and Social Studies, Faculty of Agriculture and Fisheries and water conservation in addition carry out procedures for appointment of a university professor.

Development of the University of South Bohemia today came to the organized structure of the faculty, which includes the two pillars on each university faculties, namely Arts and Science, and in addition a number of specialized, usually professionally oriented faculties, and also including the republic's unique, such as the Faculty of Fisheries and Water Protection. However, this file is and can be quite complex – for example, lacks. technically oriented disciplines (engineering, construction and other industry-oriented studies), whose graduates would be in the region certainly well applied. But while excess capacity of universities in the Czech Republic, seeking to establish such a study in the Czech Budejovice was little need and most importantly, these types of courses they need in their Organisations near the base, which would allow students to practice and practitioners involved in teaching.
