For the third time the campus Palacky hill music sounded good. 28th here in September for students Students Association (JPA), which operates at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Brno University of Technology, held a traditional festival openair student band competition show called Music from FIT.

Organizers from the morning rain tormented, which was complicated by the varying intensity throughout the event until at least 14 hours. From 6 am to begin before the growth stage and Machine refreshment stands. At the stroke of noon, everything broke. Band Applause, winner of last year, I heard just a few daredevils who obviously did not mind the weather. After them followed samotné band competition, where at least one member studying at FIT in any degree program. Competition often initiated Slovak Rastislav Somora musician with his solo output. His courage and skill have earned him great favor with the audience, who applauded him vigorously. When it rang his two bass guitars and drums band Two Basses. During their unconventional, yet very high quality production stopped raining and the area finally began to meet visitors. The favors also competed band Fistampoxar, sic.engine and cross the line.

Not only students of the faculty are musically trained, the whole event revived jazz performances of employees from the Department of Telecommunications. Although the genre was somewhat different appearance, the audience interested and their response was huge applause and chants of „more“. At 18:45 exited the first known person, group Nachod Heebie Jeebies, who accepted the invitation for the second time in a row and has become one of the main cribs entire project.

Before the last band were the winners of the student bands. The group won the Cross line from Brno and its representatives at the hands of vice-dean of FIT Peter Fiedler and SPS leader Peter Bilek accepted a prize for first place.

Full stop after the whole festival has made cluster fly? from Brno, who heard about 1,000 visitors and greatly enjoyed their productions.

Throughout the day, parallel to the second stage of VSK target audience entertained DJ Dick Florida and in the evening group appeared Vees, who heard the crowded target. The gaps between the bands filled the rich program. Whether members of the JPA and the performance of their play on the bottle, various competitions, or Caoiera Nicolao (practice CESOU below), which garnered thunderous applause.

The whole event was held under the auspices of the Mayor of Brno Roman Onderka Professor and dean of FIT. Ing. Dědková Jarmila PhD. Music from the FIT project was realized mainly due to huge efforts of members of the JPA, who once again showed that the BUT can organize the perfect event.

** Information about the faculty: ** Electrotechnical disciplines were first at the technical university, BUT the first time in 1905. Since 1959, when it was founded as an independent faculty of energy, which later transformed into the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, has successfully completed engineering studies at our faculty over 23 000 graduates. In 2001 she received the present name of Science – Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technology (FIT) and a year later she conceived the accreditation of new advanced degree programs in a structured study.
