Broad expertise in the field of public sources of energy are met in the village near Brno Býkovice. Here, organized by Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Brno University of Technology has 31st Annual International Conference – Unconventional sources of energy. This year brought together more than 70 experts, scientists, but also representatives of companies and the media.
For three days was guest at the Three oxen in Býkovice experts from all over the Republic and other Central European countries on the issue of alternative sources of energy. * „This year was very successful, we are pleased that the number of participants continues to increase, and personally I like the trend is the involvement of young PhD students in scientific conferences and of scientific activity,“ * praises the main conference organizer ** Assoc. Ing. Peter Bacau, PhD., ** Secretary of the Institute of Electrotechnology FEEC BUT. The conference brought together 73 participants came from the debate on professional topics nearly 20 foreign guests. * „This year we also had a high percentage of women in Parliament, which is not completely custom,“ adds a smile * ** Assoc. Bača **.
The conference took place in several sections, which turns a single speaker. The first section was focused on an overview of innovations in science, research, development and legislation of unconventional sources of energy. Most presentations focused on the comparison of several variants of use of energy sources, comparing the pros and cons. Great attention was paid to photovoltaic power sources, and comparisons with other „friendly“ energy sources. Significant here was also a supporter of fractions of nuclear energy, hydro power, battery systems, etc. * "All voices and opinions were very interesting, it is interesting to see how it develops an overall view of the power supply. Each lecture has brought something new, generated ideas, which is necessary to think, "adds * ** Assoc. Bača **.
The conference also hid a very interesting possibility of the accompanying program, whether it was to visit the brewery in Montenegro, or excursions to the portion of the mill, or catching trout in a nearby pond. * "I think everyone had to leave satisfied. In addition, the perfect environment and facilities, we were able to create, completes a nice feeling of those few days we spent here, "added * ** Assoc. Bača **.
Big thanks to both the Organising Committee, headed by Assoc. Baco, but also the ** Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication BUT Brno, Czech Electrotechnical Society **, conference partners – the company ** Benning, Solartec, Banner BATTEX, Pairan, and EkoWATT Photon energy **. Media supported by the entire event ** MEP Info CHEMagazín, Tech Weekly, Energy 21, Pro-Energy magazine Brno Business Eltech 2010, ETM, ETM.cz, Golden Flash, Electrical, electrician, and the magazine Technology and Market **.
The overall satisfaction with the course of the conference shows the final words of Chief „Captain“: * „Thirty-one annual conference Unconventional sources of electrical energy is dead, long live the thirty-second year,“ * concluded the conference with a smile ** Assoc. Bača **.
The entire conference can also watch other interested parties on the social networking site Facebook, where it was transmitted online coverage of this event. All lectures and presentations Faculty also publishes electronically on CD. Next year this important event will be held in September 2011.
** Information about the faculty **: Electrotechnical disciplines were first at the University of Technology, BUT the first time already in 1905. Since 1959, when it was founded as an independent faculty of energy, which later transformed into the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, has successfully completed engineering studies at our faculty of over 23 000 graduates. In 2001 the present name of Science – Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technology (FIT) and a year later acquired the accreditation of new modern-ranging study programs in a structured study. The faculty has more than 4,400 students in bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs. Studying at the faculty is focused on a wide range of scientific areas: control technology and robotics, biomedical engineering, power engineering and electronics, electrotechnology and electronics, microelectronics, and Radioelectronics Teleinformatics.
