21st Annual International Conference of Radioelectronics knocking on the door

Press news

Department of Radio Electronics Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Brno University of Technology and other technical universities hold the 21st Annual International Conference of Radioelectronics. This year will be held from 19 to 20 April. 2011 Myslivna hotel in Brno – Kohoutovice.

The conference is organized as a traditional meeting of researchers, academics, businesses and students in their professional work dealing especially wireless communication systems. * "We are pleased that we have a tradition of meeting colleagues from Central Europe who share an interest in communications technology. We believe that our partnership helps us all move our field beyond, "* adds a major organizer of the conference and head of the Institute of Radio Engineering, ** Professor. Dr. Ing. Zbynek Raida **.

The conference is technically focused mainly on the following four areas:

  • Electronic circuits,
  • Signal processing,
  • Microwave,
  • Optoelectronics.

An important part of the conference Radioelectronics are informal discussions, networking and support for talented students. Student work is independently assessed by individual members of the conference program committee and authors of the most appreciated works are awarded prize money of 10 000 CZK. "* All posts that reviewers will be recommended for inclusion in the conference proceedings will be traditionally published in international databases, IEEE Xplore, and ISI Web of Knowledge * ** Professor adds. Raida **.

Important role to play in the conference this year in Brno Centre of Applied Research SIX (Center of sensory information and communication systems, http://www.six.feec.vutbr.cz) CVVOZE (Centre for Research and utilization of renewable energy sources, http:// / www.uvee.feec.vutbr.cz/CVVOZE/) and Alisa (Application microtechnology and nanotechnology laboratories, http://alisi.isibrno.cz/). Construction of all three centers are financially supported by the Operational Programme for Development Research and Innovation. All three centers rely on the close and mutually beneficial cooperation, they want the conference to present.

Detailed information about the candidates can be found on the official conference website http://www.radioelektronika.cz or at www.facebook.com / FEKTVUT.

** ** For information about the faculty: Electrotechnical disciplines were first at the technical university, BUT the first time in 1905. Since 1959, when it was founded as an independent faculty of energy, which later transformed into the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, has successfully completed engineering studies at our faculty over 23 000 graduates. In 2001 she received the present name of Science – Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technology (FIT) and a year later she conceived the accreditation of new advanced degree programs in a structured study. The faculty has more than 4,400 students in bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs. Studying at the faculty is focused on a wide range of scientific areas: control technology and robotics, biomedical engineering, power electronics and electrical engineering, electrotechnology and electronics, microelectronics, and Radioelectronics Teleinformatics.
